INTEGRATION has proven and internationally acknowledged competence to develop comprehensive Human Resource Development Programmes. New training types have been developed specifically for use in capacity strengthening. The combination of site visits, participatory classroom training, plenary discussions with special reference to home country conditions and guided project work is matched with the skills development of managerial techniques. The balanced focus on awareness, knowledge and skills - according to the needs of the partners - is one of our strength. |
INTEGRATION project examples: MOZAMBIQUE: Strengthening of Disaster Management Policy (2001 - 2003): The project aims at the strengthening of Mozambique’s National Disaster Management Policy and stresses the need for an Early Warning System integrating a long term plan of not only responding to disasters but also preparedness and mitigation. The development of a Human Resource Development Programme and Strategy (HRDP) and Training Measure Network includes a short and long term training and capacity building programme and will be a mayor contribution to this policy. INDIA: Training Cum Visit - Environmental Management and Land Based Natural Resource Planning (2002 - 2003): Three training courses (6 weeks each in India and Europe) for 45 officers of the Indian environmental and planning Authorities. Spatial and regional planning from municipal up to federal level planning and the involvement of municipalities in: City planning, land use planning, industrial sitting, ecological sensitive areas, disaster prone areas. The conclusions and results of project work during the training are used for implementation of the spatial planning system in India. Worldwide
