To accommodate the increasing importance of energy efficiency in the national and international context, the fields of energy auditing and management have been greatly expanded nationally and internationally in recent years and include both the building sector, industry as well as households. We consult technical staff and managers from governments, administrations, NGOs and industry at local and national level. |
INTEGRATION’s scope of services in the field of energy efficiency ranges from energy audits and consulting, financial planning, implementation supervision to communal energy concepts and the development of regulations and institutions on energy efficiency for buildings, industry and household sector, assistance in preparing National Energy Efficiency Action Plans. We have designed financing and incentive programmes, implemented information and knowledge management systems, training and workshops, feasibility studies and awareness raising and information portals.
Energy efficiency measures for Buildings include development of recommendations for energy and building regulations, municipal energy concepts, development of energy efficiency strategies and guidelines for the construction sector, institutional development, e.g. the setting up of local energy information centres, or national energy agencies, energy auditing and concept development services for residential and non-residential buildings including thermographic assessment, energy performance certification, incorporation of renewable energy (active and passive), for example, passive solar technologies and solar air heating, awareness raising and information portals.
For Industry the services provided by INTEGRATION are related to energy efficiency standards for selected sectors, development and implementation of environmental management instruments in small and medium sized enterprises, introduction of clean technologies, financing and incentive programmes, set up of advisory services and design of handbooks for energy management energy efficiency, energy audits, planning and implementation of energy efficiency measures in diverse industries (power sector, textile, pulp & paper, electronic, metal, tanneries), awareness raising and information portals.
